Trip to Midland (Martyrs Shrine-Filipino Day)

Every year Martyrs Shrine host pilgrimages. This past Saturday, August 6, 2011 it was Filipino Day. On our way to the Shrine guest were treated with a light breakfast that was provided by Annabelle,   Bianca & OFWC . While officers were handing out breakfeast, 50/50 Raffle were being sold. 5 people won cash prizes. Thousands of filipinos across Ontario congregate here for a mass. The 1st mass was held inside the church and was conducted in english the 2nd mass was held outside on the lawn and was conducted in tagalog.

After the mass we all went back to the bus to have some lunch also provided by Annabelle & OFWC. Once everyone was finished with lunch we made our way to Casino Rama. We spent about 5 hours at the casino. Everyone seemed to enjoy even though the casino won this time haha.
